Once I was telling my father about a great help a friend of mine gave me. "Thank God I made it! May God pay him in double blessings!" I prayed.
"Thank your friend, who helped you, not God," taught my father. "It is you who should pay him in triple, if you really want it to happen."
That day, I learned something about real gratitude and I just stoped saying "Thank God" and started paying more attention to the people I should really thank.
God is within all creatures. He manifests in all. Let us learn how to direct our thankings correctly.
So thanks to my friend who helped me so much. May I pay him in triple as I wish to. God is in him. He is the one who performed the divine action. This is the divinity of all actions.
